Point Roberts Shelter
Cardinal Architecture designed this unique outdoor pavilion with Douglas fir timber thinned from the adjacent forest. Inspired by Northwest Civilian Concervation Corps projects of the 1930s, the structure opens to a meadow & creates a comfortable spot to enjoy all four Northwest seasons. The design includes board-formed concrete, clear finished fir, galvanized steel connectors, & standing seam steel roofing. Site-built, custom fir furniture & a wood-burning fireplace complete the rustic experience.
