The Port Townsend Public Library included a series of building projects over several years. Cardinal designed an adaptive reuse renovation of the 1868 Charles Pink House, an exterior renovation of the 1913 historic Carnegie library, & an interior reorganization & renovation of the library itself. The projects were reviewed by the Port Townsend City Council, the Port Townsend Historic Preservation Committee, the State of Washington Department of Archaeology & Historic Preservation, & the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
